The developer billed it as the ‘Ultimate add-on for Internet Explorer’.
#PROMOTED AD BLOCKER FOR FIREFOX PROFESSIONAL#
It was more like a Firefox experience with the trusty AdBlock Plus.īut my new IE companion, IE7Pro, has done a really professional job of keeping the nasties away from our stroll. But as we browse through the underground for a good hour, I felt comfortable and forgot that I was with IE. Marauding Flash ads strutting their stuff, iFrames blending, flickering in the corners and where the old but trusty animated GIFs still fight for your attention and irritation. Then we took a left turn to the seedier side of the web, where pop-overs and pop-unders sprang like proverbial mutants. Flash and iFrames and text ads were nowhere to be found. Last weekend, I’ve had a really pleasant ‘walk in the park’ with IE. But horror stories and drop/hate campaigns against it will most likely frighten you, ditch it and get Firefox instead. Because IE is still prefered by majority of web users. If you’re a web designer/developer, keeping Internet Explorer 7 is a must.
